MPR treats millions of gallons of amines, solvents and glycols on a daily basis in refineries, gas plants and related industries to keep their gas treating capabilities at design levels. A clean amine or Glycol system is the least expensive and most productive in terms of meeting on spec goals. MPR's programs contribute to reduced operating expenses, more stable operations, reduced environmental concerns and ability to control costs with guaranteed performance. Our staff, experience and goals make us independent consultants for amine systems. We have one endeavor on our minds, to clean your amine and generate optimal performance from upstream to downstream. We remove the contaminants which prohibit performance and cause corrosion. We remove Heat Stable Salts, HSSX® Process Anions and/or Cations (sodium, potassium), Hydrocarbons, HCX™ Process, Suspended Solids, SSX™ Process, Oxazolidones, Oxex™ Process, Bicine and other amino acids, Chlorides and Conversion of formamides. MPR conserves amine, MPR purifies amine, MPR’s technology does not generate hazardous waste. Unlike vacuum distillation methods, we lose less than 1.0% amine. Unlike small units which are sold without service, we have custom designed equipment to handle both small and large capacity systems. Our operation is composed of well trained technicians and engineers to manage the equipment and technology specific to your system. MPR's laboratory provides Analysis of amine properties and impurities including: Heat Stable Salts, Hydrocarbons and Solids.

Cyanide Control (Cyntrol™) is MPR's Cyanide Scavenging Program. Cyntrol™, ammonium polysulfide, reduces the potential for cyanide assisted corrosion while significantly reducing the potential for free cyanide in the refineries waste water effluent. If excess cyanides have been found, hydrogen corrosion may result. MPR reviews the efficiency of your current wash water system and/or current scavenger program, including application methodology, separation limitations and foul water handling limitations. Removing cyanides from the process unit without adding chemicals to the unit is our objective. Cyntrol™ scavenges free cyanide before it gets to the sour water stripper converting the component to thiocyanate. Thiocyanate is easily handled in the refineries water treatment facility.
