GTC supplying BTX technology for Reliance Industries complex
GTC Technology US, LLC, is licensing its GT-BTX® Extractive Distillation process for the production of high purity aromatics at Reliance Industries’ Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex in Gujarat, India. This license is part of a consortium with CB&ILummus Technology to supply technology for a multi-unit complex for benzene and paraxylene production. The new facility will be the world’s largest for the production of PX.
GTC is a leading licensor of aromatics recovery and purification technology, with novel processes to recover aromatics from FCC gasoline, styrene from pyrolysis gasoline, and methyl group management to maximize paraxylene from low-cost raw materials.
