NIPIGAS selects AVEVA’s integrated engineering & design solution
AVEVA today announced that NIPIGAS has extended its contract for AVEVA’s Integrated Engineering & Design solution. The new contract means that NIPIGAS will use AVEVA software to create a collaborative digital environment that enables greater control over the entire design and engineering process. This extended contract includes access to AVEVA’s flagship 3D design software, AVEVA Everything3D™ (AVEVA E3D™). AVEVA’s Integrated Engineering & Design software solution scales to support projects of any size, enabling NIPIGAS to take on bigger, more complex capital projects.
‘The scope of our projects is changing so we felt that we needed to re-evaluate our software requirements to support increasing efficiency and reliability for our customers’, said Anton Chernov, NIPIGAS Head of IT. ‘The projects that we work on now are greater in scale and complexity. AVEVA’s innovative engineering solutions creates the opportunity for us to extend the relationship with our customers. AVEVA has helped us to improve our standards and processes in 3D engineering and design.’
‘Creating a fully Integrated Engineering & Design environment will give NIPIGAS significantly increased project capabilities and a clear competitive advantage,’ said Evgeny Fedotov, SVP – EPC Sales, AVEVA. ‘By aligning applications across multiple disciplines, NIPIGAS will achieve optimised project efficiency, resulting in higher quality deliverables to their customers. It was important for them to build a relationship with a business partner that has an innovative approach and proven technologies.’
