WorleyParsonsCord awarded modularization and construction contract
WorleyParsonsCord has been awarded a contract to provide module assembly and field construction services for the Cutbank Ridge Partnership Program’s 15- 27 Saturn Phase 2 Sweet Gas Plant Project at an approximate contract value of CAD 130 million. The plant is located approximately 25 km northwest of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Canada.
The contract will be led and executed by the WorleyParsonsCord Edmonton, Alberta operations, which has been delivering modularization and construction services to western Canadian hydrocarbons, power and chemical sectors for several decades. WorleyParsonsCord will be working with communities and local businesses located in northeastern British Columbia during the field construction phase of the project.
The Cutbank Ridge Partnership is a partnership between Encana and Cutbank Dawson Gas Resources Ltd., a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation. CRP is managing the construction of the project on behalf of Veresen Midstream Limited Partnership, who is providing midstream services to CRP.
Andrew Wood, Chief Executive Officer of WorleyParsons stated “We are pleased to be able to support the Cutback Ridge Partnership and Veresen Midstream in the development of British Columbia's gas resources. We are also pleased to be able to continue to build on our relationship with Encana, Mitsubishi and Veresen Midstream through the award of this important project”.
