Ultra-low-sulfur gasoline project awarded to KBR

KBR Inc, announced today it has been awarded a contract to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services to Monroe Energy for the company's Tier 3 Ultra-Low-Sulfur Gasoline (ULSG) Project at Monroe's Refinery in Trainer, PA.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will execute EPC services to relocate and reconstruct an idle 60,000 Barrels per Day SCANfining™ unit from another facility to Monroe's Refinery.

The work is expected to be completed next year with a planned start-up of the unit in 2017.

Revenue associated with this project will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for KBR's Engineering & Construction Business Segment during the second quarter of 2016.
