Crane ChemPharma & Energy to display enhanced pumps & valves at StocExpo
Crane ChemPharma & Energy, a Crane Co. business and leading provider of highly engineered fluid handling solutions, will showcase its trusted brand of products at the 2017 StocExpo, March 28-30 at the Ahoy Rotterdam (Hall 1, Booth #I26). This year, Crane will feature two recently introduced products, the redesigned DEPA® DH-TP and TPL pumps, as well as the new Crane®FKX 9000 Triple Offset Valve.
Made of PTFE and PTFE electro conductive housing material, the enhanced DEPA® DH-TP and TPL pumps feature a simple, robust and rugged construction consisting of a reduced number of parts that improves pump performance by up to 30% at 7 bar air pressure. With a redesign of the center block, pump chambers and manifolds, these next generation pumps provide a safe and defined diaphragm clamp that improves leakage tightness. Furthermore, an improvement of valve ball guidance has resulted in an increase in dry suction lift by up to 50% versus previous designs.
These next generation pumps will be featured next to Crane’s revolutionary new triple offset valve, the Crane®FKX 9000. Engineered to address the inherent dangers of demanding applications, the Crane®FKX 9000 TOV adheres to the industry’s most stringent standards, delivering exceptional flow control, optimized Cv and low Delta P, as well as zero-leak* shut off in high-temperature applications, hydrocarbon service and emergency shut down (ESD) service. Featuring an optimized seat angle, metal-to-metal sealing, innovative stem seal and shaft design, and torque seating, this new valve offers numerous cost, safety and performance benefits. Originally available in sizes ranging from 3” to 24”, the Crane®FKX 9000 will now be available in sizes up to 48.”
“We are excited to present our latest product solutions to the bulk liquid storage industry at StocExpo this year,” said Hans Ptak, VP/GM, Crane ChemPharma & Energy – DEPA & ELRO. “Both the DEPA® DH and Crane®FKX 9000 products offer features and benefits that are appropriate for a wider range of applications and environments, further enhancing our solution portfolio enabling us to serve an even broader base of manufacturers in need of evolved technology.”
