Reactor Resources Has Acquired Actisulf, a Specialist in Catalyst Activation

Reactor Resources Europe, B.V. (RxR) has finalized the acquisition of Actisulf SAS, a leading provider of catalyst sulfiding and activation services to E.U. and Middle East refineries. The merger of these two companies will give refiners across the globe access to Reactor Resources’ patented technologies and innovations. This includes the patented SmartSkid™ Injection System and online gas analyzers for measuring H2S concentration and hydrogen purity of recycle gas streams in real-time.

The current president of Actisulf, Mr. Christian Gonzales, will assume the role of Operations Director for Reactor Resources Europe. Mr. Fabien Gonzales will become General Director of Actisulf.

"The closing of the Actisulf acquisition is an important step for our business as we strive to become the world’s leader in catalyst activation services" said Reactor Resources’ Managing Member, Jim Robinson. "Christian, Fabien, and their team bring a tremendous amount of technical expertise and over 25 years of experience in the field of DMDS injection and catalyst sulfiding. We look forward to working with them to build our presence in these important markets.”

Reactor Resources is the exclusive distributor of DMDS, TBPS 454, and DMS for ChevronPhillips Chemical Company. RxR has established a new standard in sulfiding with the introduction of its patent pending SmartSkid™ Injection System. The SmartSkid is the safest and most accurate pumping systems available for sulfiding hydrotreating and hydrocracking units with DMDS or di-tertiary-butyl polysulfide (TBPS 454). Reactor Resources also supplies DMS to the ethylene industry for the passivation of steam cracker furnace tubes.

Actisulf is a specialist in hydrotreating catalyst activation for oil refineries and petrochemical plants. This service includes the injection of sulfur spiking agents such as dimethyl disulfide (DMDS) and di-tertiary-butyl polysulfide (TBPS 454).
