RefComm® Galveston 2020 will be held 11-15 May
RefComm® Galveston 2020 will be held May 11 - 15, 2020 at the Moody Gardens Hotel and Conference Center in Galveston, TX. This marks the 22nd year for the conference, training seminar, and exhibition. RefComm® has been a key driver in the refining industry for implementing proven safety protocols, next-gen technology, and best practices in refinery units.
Over the years, RefComm® has grown to include separate training and conference programs for the delayed coking and fluid catalytic cracking units. This year, the conference is re-introducing a sulfur recovery track and will also feature a technical conference program on solvent deasphalting.
Known for its highly calibrated technical curriculum, an excellent ratio of refiners to suppliers, strong refiner presentations, and industry insider workshops and discussion groups, RefComm® enjoys the attendance and participation of many of the leading refineries and vendors in the U.S. and worldwide. The conference is highly unit specific, and designed for operators, engineers, maintenance, and managers of these process units who are able to discuss the finer details of these processes in a way not possible in broader conferences. As in years past, RefComm® 2020 will be heavily focused on production goals, environmental regulations, revamps, unit optimization, and equipment maintenance.
The conference kicks off with two days of optional training for DCU and FCCU operators, with four courses that operators can choose from. The training is followed by the technical conference, which features nearly 50 presentations focusing on the topics that matter most to operators of DCU, FCCU, SDA, and SRU units, an exhibition hall with more than 100 vendor booths featuring the latest technologies and solutions, as well as plenty of networking opportunities throughout the week.
The Moody Gardens Hotel & Conference Center is located at 7 Hope Blvd. in Galveston, TX and has a block of rooms for RefComm® Galveston 2020.
