Wison Engineering awarded an engineering and procurement service contract

Wison Engineering, through its wholly-owned US Subsidiary, has just been awarded an engineering and procurement service contract from Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. for a chemical project in the U.S. Gulf. This successful collaboration represents another milestone for Wison Engineering’s business growth in the U.S., marking Wison establishment in North America which has traditionally been dominated by western engineering firms.

The contract covers the scope of basic engineering support, detailed engineering, and procurement services including vendor screening, quotation inquiry, commercial negotiation, equipment inspection and expediting. Site construction is scheduled to begin in 2021, and commissioning is scheduled to be in the first half of 2023.

Wison Engineering's leading modular design, procurement, fabrication and delivery capabilities are the key for winning this project. Wison Engineering has successfully built the world largest liquid feed cracking furnace through modular fabrication and construction; and this achievement has been well recognized in the ethylene industry. In the past two years, Wison has built two modular projects in North America, one of which is the largest modular project undertaken by a Chinese engineering company in the North America.

Ms. Vicky Rong, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wison Engineering said, “We see North America as one of our key markets. Wison Engineering is committed to provide the shortest project schedule and the most cost-effective EPC service for our clients. Building upon the rich project experiences and in-depth local knowledge, Wison Engineering offers our differentiated services through our advantage in modularization. Comparing to conventional project execution, Wison can execute the project with lower cost, shorter construction schedule, higher safety standard and higher quality.

AP is one of the key clients for Wison, and Wison and AP have many years’ experience in collaboration. This is the first project in North America collaborating cooperation between Wison and AP. “We greatly value AP’s trust and confidence to Wison. We are confident that we will deliver the project in high-quality by bringing on our experienced team, rich technical knowledge, and rich project-execution experience in America. Our team will work closely with all stake-holders and endeavor to optimize the cost of construction and installation, and ultimately exceed customer's expectation by providing differentiated and high value-added services." added by Vicky Rong.
