US EPA releases latest data on sulfur in gasoline
The 2019 US average sulfur in gasoline was 17.5 ppm. We are still a long way from meeting the 10 ppm Tier 3 goal for 2020. We came down from 26.6 ppm in 2014 to 17.5 in 2019, and the most difficult 7.5 ppm remain to be removed. With more than half of 2020 behind us, it is clear the industry is way behind schedule in adjusting operations to meet the Tier 3 standard. Contact Hoekstra Trading for full up-to-date data and analysis of the Tier 3 issue. We have hard data and tools that will help you adapt immediately, before the risks get out of control.
