Tier 3 gasoline - a wolf in sheep's clothing? Part 3 predictions

This is the third of three video segments analyzing the US refining industry's readiness for the Tier 3 gasoline standard which requires an annual average of 10 ppm sulfur in gasoline sold in the United States starting in 2020. After six years to get ready, and now just two months before the deadline, much work remains to meet the goal. This third segment gives predictions on how Tier 3 will affect US refinery operations and downstream refining profitability. The presentation was given at the OPIS/IHS Markit Future Fuels and Octane Forum, October 24, 2019 at the Aria in Las Vegas. The content is excerpted from our 3-year multi-client research program conducted by our client group between 2014 and 2017.
