EDL Anlagenbau and Nuberg EPC collaboration to drive sustainable solutions

Nuberg EPC, headquartered in Delhi NCR, India, an engineering and industrial conglomerate and EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH, based in Leipzig, Germany, one of the leading technology-driven plant engineering companies in Germany and part of the Austrian Pörner Group, set up a partnership and signed a Technical Collaboration Agreement (TCA) in Delhi last week.

The aim of this agreement is to mark a strategic alliance to tackle pressing environmental issues and enhance energy security by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, optimizing resource use, and promoting responsible industrial practices. This alliance will help to introduce EDL’s technological expertise and know-how to the Indian market while supporting Nuberg’s operations across Europe.

Smart solutions for economic growth and sustainability
The focus will be on the creation of added value from the bottom of the barrel – turning waste into high-quality products while minimizing the ecological impact through smart technological solutions. These include e.g. Solvent Deasphalting (SDA), Solvent Extraction of Lube Cuts to obtain TDAE / TRAE, Dewaxing / Deoiling, complex greases and others to generate valuable products that will find their place in the large Indian market.

Furthermore, advanced technologies for producing green hydrogen and green derivatives based on it, such as methanol or synthetic aviation fuel (SAF), will play their part in meeting the challenges of storing and transporting sustainable energy sources in a better way.

The partnership between EDL and Nuberg is built on shared values, complementary capabilities and a joint vision for innovation and sustainable growth in the hydrogen and clean energy sector.

A.K Tyagi, Founder and CMD of Nuberg EPC commented: “We believe in securing reliable collaborations that focus on both efficient and effective measures. We are confident in the potential of our strategic partnership, and in setting new benchmarks with shared commitment to delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable engineering solutions. This partnership is going to be a game changer driving transformative results in the industry.”

“The signing of the TCA is an important milestone in the history of our companies. We look forward to the first projects that we will implement together based on this strategic alliance. We thank our partner for the trust placed in us”, added Daniel Oryan, EDL’s CEO.
