Creating opportunities in Vietnam

HRH Crown Prince Frederik, Minister of Export and Trade, Pia Olsen Dyhr and Anne Birgitte Lundholt, Export Ambassador, headed a Danish business delegation to Vietnam in early December. As a delegate Topsoe took the opportunity to strengthen their network to potential customers.

Interesting potential
The business delegation which included 37 Danish companies started in Hanoi and ended in Saigon on December 1. Vietnam experiences increasing growth and has welcomed the Danish companies, who at the same time see Vietnam as an interesting export potential.

Seminars covering a range of topics including CSR, green tech, education, water as well as oil and gas were held. The seminar on oil and gas was well attended. Rasmus Breivik, Managing Director for Haldor Topsoe SDN BHD in Malaysia, lectured on the topic "Enrichment and production output – ‘Let My’ as case story". The lecture focused on how Topsoe’s catalysts and processes may contribute to the optimisation of refining processes.

Extensive interest
Business and public interest in the event was extensive in Hanoi as well as in Saigon. The various business areas were well-represented as was the press. HRH Crown Prince Frederik held the opening speeches and subsequently greeted all the participants in the various seminars.
