Manoir Industries has invested in a new machining center in its Pitres plant

To support its strong growth in the nuclear and conventional casting market, the Manoir Petrochem & Nuclear Business Unit has invested in a new Varnsdorf TOS machining center which will be installed in Pitres and operational in September 2012.

This major investment contributes to the upgrade of the equipment in Pitres and enlarges its machining offer, especially for very technical nuclear products. It enables a high capacity and a large product range, and allows for precise machining of complex geometric parts weighing up to 16 t. Manoir Petrochem & Nuclear is a worldwide leader for nuclear and conventional complex casting parts. Well-known for its technical expertise and its customer references, the business unit had in 2011 a 20% growth in the pump, valve, elbow and complex component markets.

Manoir Industries, an international metal processing group, forge and foundry specialist operating in 3 business units, Manoir Aerospace, Manoir Petrochem & Nuclear and Manoir Specialties attained €340M in sales in 2011 from its 13 production plants located all over the world.
