AVEVA NET selected by Organika-Sarzyna, one of Poland’s largest chemical producers

AVEVA announced today that AVEVA NET has been selected by Organika-Sarzyna, one of Poland’s largest chemical producers, to provide a data integrity management program for a new MCPA (phenoxy herbicide) production plant installation. AVEVA NET will enhance the quality of management and maintenance data. The AVEVA NET PDMS Gateway has also been acquired and made available to subcontractors, including the Polish EPC PROCHEM, who is working on the MCPA installation design.

'AVEVA was able to demonstrate the benefits of integrating AVEVA NET and AVEVA PDMS via a Gateway using our own 3D models of the MCPA installation. This showed what operations and maintenance information we are able to access and compare,' said MCPA installation construction Project Manager Jerzy Iwasieczko, Organika-Sarzyna. 'Its ability to work with maintenance data, as well as its ease of navigation, is a huge advantage. The potential of AVEVA NET, including the use of the data in operation and maintenance, was also a strong consideration.'

'This is a fantastic example of how both the EPC and Owner Operator benefit from AVEVA technology, demonstrating the strength of an Operational Integrity Management strategy,' explains Helmut Schuller, Senior Vice President- Central and North EMEA, AVEVA. 'Organika-Sarzyna had initially selected a product with far less functionality, but we proved how essential AVEVA NET is for any organisation involved in designing, building or operating complex engineering assets. With AVEVA NET’s ability to assimilate data from any data source, Organika-Sarzyna will realise its full value in on-going operations and maintenance, improving asset and project performance for the entire plant lifecycle.'

Organika-Sarzyna specialises in herbicide, fungicide and seed dressing chemicals to maximise crop production, as well as epoxy and polyester resins.
