Topsoe recruits new vice president for corporate communications & marketing

On October 1, 2012 Markela Dedopoulos (47) takes up a newly established position as Vice President for Corporate Communications & Marketing in Haldor Topsoe.

“Topsoe has an ambitious growth strategy for the coming years and hence we wish to strengthen the company’s global communication and marketing activities toward our key stakeholders, especially the customers. Markela Dedopoulos who has a strong profile within these areas has been recruited to deal with this challenge,” says Ulrik Federspiel, Executive Vice President, Topsoe.

Markela Dedopoulos comes from a position as Vice President for Corporate Communications & Reputation in Danfoss.  Markela Dedopoulos has also worked seven years at Novo Nordisk as Corporate Public Relations Director. She also has experience from Vestas as Global Director for Communications as well as from Arriva as Head of Communication.

Previously Markela Dedopoulos has worked as a journalist for television stations DR and TV3, where she has held positions as news editor and host.

Markela Dedopoulos has a master degree in journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus and she holds an Executive Master in Corporation Communication from Aarhus School of Business. She also holds a degree in international marketing.
