Phillips 66 contributes to hurricane Sandy disaster relief

Phillips 66 will make an immediate contribution of $500,000 to the American Red Cross to assist local disaster relief operations following Hurricane Sandy. The company also will match individual employee contributions through its Matching Gift Program. Additionally, Phillips 66 is supporting affected employees by offering financial assistance to those who have experienced significant damage to their homes.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected by the storm, especially our employees and their families at the Bayway refinery and our three storage terminals nearby,” said Greg Garland, chairman and chief executive officer of Phillips 66. “Assisting our employees and our community is consistent with our values of safety, honor and commitment.”
