Equate wins top Middle East CSR award

On this occasion, EQUATE VP Technical services Mohammad Al benali said, “Such recognition is a result of EQUATE’s overall commitment to all sustainability related issues, such as the environment. For this purpose, EQUATE has launched several initiatives aimed at ensuring the environment’s preservation and protection.”
 
Al Benali added, “These initiatives include Kuwait’s first and only seawater cooling towers, Kuwait’s first CO2 recovery project, as well as the Middle East’s first plant water recycle project. This has enabled EQUATE to manifest its world-class excellence to the judging committee which lauded and commended these unique achievements.”
 
Al Benali expressed utmost appreciation to the award’s organizers and their role in recognizing the efforts of EQUATE which has received numerous awards, adding “The Company does not view this recognition and others as rewards, they are sources of encouragement to dedicate more efforts into implementing the principles of sustainability to the fullest by continuing EQUATE’s ’Partners in Success’ tagline.”
 
In recognition of its sustainability achievements, EQUATE has earned several prestigious honors, including His Highness the Amir Award for the Best Plant in Kuwait; The Gold Award in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for Gulf private sector companies; The Award for Best Gulf Company in Recruiting Nationals; Arabian Business Best CSR Company Award; Oil & Gas (O&G) Middle East CSR Award; O&G Best Implemented Environmental Program of the Year; Middle East Chemical Week (MECW) Plant of the Year Award; as well as Kuwait’s CSR Award in the Industrial and Oil Sector. In addition, EQUATE has received the Highly Commended Best Community Program Award during the First Middle East CSR Award Summit.”
