Jacobs receives contract from Honeywell in China

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc announced today it received a contract from Honeywell to provide Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT) services for a new production project in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, the People’s Republic of China.

The contract value was not disclosed.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing IPMT services, including basic and detailed design, permitting, project controls, quality, HSE management, procurement, and construction management services, with the option to provide commissioning and start-up support as required. The plant is scheduled to start up in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Jacobs Group Vice President Tom Quinn stated, “Jacobs is very pleased to continue our support of Honeywell in China with this significant greenfield project in Jiangsu. We look forward to helping them meet their project goals by drawing upon our local technical and project management capabilities, fortified by our 35 years of experience in the chemicals industry in China.”
