Sandvik appoints new global product manager

Sandvik Process Systems has appointed Tom Smith as Global Product Manager of its sulphur division. Tom joined Sandvik as a sales engineer in 1989 and has been involved in the sulphur industry ever since. During his 25 years with Sandvik, Tom has been instrumental in the successful completion of numerous sulphur solidification and handling projects around the world.

He has held the position of Regional Product Specialist since 2010, responsible for all sulphur & fertilizer related activities in the Americas.

Tom graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1986 as a BSc in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He is a member of The Sulphur Institute’s Information and Advocacy Working Group.
