Athlon Solutions move to new corporate headquarters
Athlon Solutions moved its corporate headquarters and technical center in mid-August to a combined corporate office/laboratory in northwest Houston. The move to 5500 N. Sam Houston Parkway W., Suite 800 (west of IAH, the George Bush Intercontinental Airport) will be fully completed in the fall.
“Athlon Solutions has been on a three-year search for a new best-in-class technology center,” said Tom Amonett, President and CEO. “Having a combined corporate office and technical center allows us to better work with each other and more importantly serve our customers.”
Amonett said the company gains a 45,000 square-foot facility, which includes four laboratories totaling 17,000 square-feet. “The increase in laboratory space will also allow us to enhance our capabilities and meet the growing demand for our Engineering & Technical Support and R&D teams,” he said.
Since 2013, when Athlon Solutions was founded after the sale of Champion Technologies to Ecolab, the company’s corporate headquarters has been located in Houston on Essex Lane and its technical center in Fresno, TX.
The company’s manufacturing facilities, which are located in Pasadena, TX (Bayport Plant) and Geismar, LA are not moving. In fact, the Bayport Plant is expanding its capabilities to include a pilot plant, which builds on the EO/PO manufacturing capabilities that officially launched in February 2016.
