Transforming process engineering through innovation

The fifth edition of the Middle East Process Engineering Conference & Exhibition (MEPEC) will be held from 14 to 16 October 2019 at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, Kingdom of Bahrain.

Under the theme Transforming Process Engineering Through Innovation, with 3500 participants from over 500 companies, MEPEC is an excellent opportunity to grow your network, increase brand credibility and heighten visibility in front of global industry leaders.  Organizations across the oil and gas sector are facing growing pressure to streamline their operations in order to improve overall efficiency. This can only be achieved by transforming the way they work.

AlAlloush, Engineering Specialist, Process & Control Systems Department- Saudi Aramco; Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi, Process Engineering Manager – Sipchem; David Renolayan, Technology & Process Engineering Lead Domestic Refining & NGL - Saudi Aramco; Nikola Georgiev, Senior Account Manager Refinery - Haldor Topsoe; Fadi Mhaini,Director, Technology Licensing – CLG; Dr. Nasiru Tukur, Engineering Consultant - Saudi Aramco; Saifuddin Sheikh, Director, Business Consulting – AspenTech.

The meeting concluded with the technical program being finalized. The program will focus on four primary areas of challenges in today’s process engineering world, namely:
1. Digital Transformation
2. Revolutionary/ Transformative Technology
3. Debottlenecking: Exploiting Opportunities to Boost Performance
4. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
