Tecam awarded environmental technology project in Eastern Europe
Tecam continues its international expansion in the environmental sector, with the awarding of a new key technology project for wastewater treatment vapours emissions for a major refinery plant in Eastern Europe.
Tecam, a leading supplier of environmental technology, announces that it has been awarded a new project for the treatment of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and odours emissions derived from the wastewater treatment plant within a refinery in Eastern Europe.
Under the terms of the agreement, Tecam will supply this refinery with Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) equipment, which is the most optimal solution after analysing the technical requirements of the customer, taking into account the air flow to be treated and the nature and characteristics of the gases emitted. This RTO system is expected to eliminate 99.9% of the polluting VOC emissions in the refinery.
This solution is getting more and more common in industrial sectors, not only in municipal wastewater treatment, and moreover, it fully complies with BREF recommendations by the European Commission.
“We are delighted to have been awarded this new project in Eastern Europe,” said Bernat Sala, Tecam CEO. “Environmental technology has proved to be profitable for companies while allowing them to adapt to the strictest environmental legislation. We are now at a decisive moment for the environmental sector”.
Thanks to the elimination of 99.9% of VOC polluting emissions derived from their refinery processes, this plant is soon becoming a facility with the highest standards of safety, quality and respect for the environment.
