Synthomer and Lummus announce partnership to license acrylic acid esters technology

This partnership underscores commitment to delivering sustainable, value-added solutions for customers in adhesives, coatings, sealants and other high-performance applications worldwide. Synthomer, a leading supplier of high-performance, highly specialised polymers and ingredients, and Lummus Technology, a global provider of process technologies and value-driven energy solutions, today announce the launch of a new partnership to license Synthomer’s proprietary acrylic acid esters technology.

This strategic collaboration combines Synthomer’s deep operational expertise and technological know-how in acrylic acid esters with Lummus’ global licensing capabilities and extensive customer network. Lummus will offer robust solutions to produce acrylic acid esters, a key component in several high-performance applications, with the ability to utilise a variety of raw materials, including bio-based feedstocks.
