Event Description

As the world recovers from the coronavirus pandemic, the oil industry continues to face unprecedented challenges related to price volatility and supply uncertainty due to geopolitics, coupled with persistent climate scrutiny that could destroy long-term business viability. In response, energy firms have planned and committed to GHG-emission reductions to meet their environmental, social, and governance goals.

Unfortunately, the current Russia-Ukraine conflict has created a lot of uncertainties in global oil supplies, particularly shifting crude flows as refiners are shunning Russian cargoes and seeking alternatives. The war has also cut Russian fuel exports resulting in product shortages and price surges.

For this year's meeting, we have assembled a team of experienced business strategists and hands-on technology experts to create roadmaps to navigate these uncertain times and provide the world with both energy security and sustainability.

The 2½-day meeting will focus on five major drivers to tackle critical issues. Visit the Conference Agenda.
1. Outlooks and insights of shifting global oil supply and demand in uncertain times amid energy transition
2. Crude selection and trading: favoring low-carbon and "carbon-neutral/offset" grades
3. Crude management  to improve feed quality and to aid in refinery decarbonization
4. Refiners' flexibility to process changing crudes and meet product shortfalls
5. Refining process and catalyst innovations, biofuel production, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for fuel transformations
