Honeywell customer solution center in Houston to serve as regional production facility
Honeywell announced today that its Customer Solution Center (CSC) in Houston, Texas, will now serve as a regional production facility, combining integration services, parts distribution and manufacturing in a central location to support process automation system customers throughout North America.
The 94,000-square-foot facility, located at 11201 Greens Crossing, is now capable of end-to-end delivery of complete process control solutions. It is ISO 9001- and TÜV-certified, and integrates and delivers to customers Honeywell’s Experion® Series C standard build and integration of the Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS), TotalPlant™ Solution system and Safety Manager safety solution.
“Our Houston site is ideally equipped and situated to support our growing customer needs in the United States, as well as key projects worldwide,” said Frank Whitsura, Honeywell Process Solutions’ vice president and general manager. “By transforming the site into a full production facility, we will be much more responsive to our customers’ needs as the U.S. and North American oil and gas sectors evolve.”
Services performed at the Houston site include project-specific customer system assembly; custom network cabinets, marshalling and cabinet equipment assembly; third-party product/system integration; software loading and testing; project solution staging; and factory/customer acceptance testing.
According to Whitsura, the development of regional facilities such as Houston is based on the Honeywell Operating System, which is a comprehensive business approach for integrated supply chain operations. This system enables an environment of continuous improvement to drive superior performance in safety, quality, and delivery.
