Intertek expands Marcellus and Utica shale oil & gas services
Intertek, the leading quality solutions provider to industries worldwide, has expanded their Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania facility to support growing oil and gas related activity in the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays.
Intertek supports the oil and gas industry in the Marcellus and Utica Shale regions with a wide range of testing, inspection, certification and other services dedicated to supporting oil, natural gas, refining, and transportation quality operations.
Intertek expanded the Pittsburgh PA laboratory capabilities to provide clients operating in the Marcellus and Utica shale regions crude oil, condensate, natural gas and NGL testing locally and regionally, to global quality standards.
The Pittsburgh facility is providing 24/7 testing capabilities, 24-hour sample testing and reporting turnaround times, and on-site sampling services within a 200 mile radius from the laboratory.
Intertek's services protect the client's interests throughout the entire shale oil & gas production and transportation supply-chain. Quality and quantity services include true vapor pressure analysis load and off-load survey inspections, inspection and sampling of barges, railcars, and trucks, and precision sampling and analysis of crude oil, gases, liquid condensates, and other hydrocarbons.
