RSAT technology passes SINOPEC review

RIPP is pleased to announce that its selective hydro-desulfurization catalyst for FCC gasoline (RSAT) has passed the review of SINOPEC. RSAT is a pretreatment technology to improve catalyst selectivity and considerably enhance the desulfurization selectivity of catalyst. The pilot study indicated that RSAT pretreatment technology, compared with RSDS-II routine technology, can reduce the octane number loss of products while producing gasoline with sulfur content according to State V standards. Besides, RSAT has good adaptability to crude oils. When processing the MIP gasoline with high sulfur content and mixing MIP gasoline with FCC gasoline, RSAT can reduce the sulfur content of products and the loss of octane number. Experts claims that RSAT is innovative and has independent intellectual property rights and the catalysts processed in RSAT have good active stability and selective stability, so as to satisfy the needs of long-term and stable operation in industrial equipment.
