Trayed Towers - Tru-Scan™ & FrothView™
Tracerco provides actionable information while the system is online and operating in normal, test or upset conditions. A Tru-Scan™ diagnosis will provide you better insight into tray flooding, weeping and internal damage. Our patented FrothView™ technology offers another level of detail, measuring the actual froth height on individual trays, identifying bottlenecks and optimising performance.
The video shows how changes in the signal indicates the froth height on each tray – so you know how much spare capacity there is. The technology can also be used to check for blocked and flooding downcomers.
Using PhaseFinder™ technology provides accurate measurements of liquid levels in downcomers and the base of the tower. The changes in molecular density or makeup detected by the system indicate the liquid levels in the downcomer and base – as well as the amount of coke deposit in the base liquid.
