AEG Power Solutions to provide all power system equipment for Atyrau refinery project
SINOPEC LPEC is a high-tech company which operates as an EPC contractor and a technology licensor for Chinese energy and petrochemical industries. Founded in 1956 as Fushun Petroleum Design Institute and Luoyang Petroleum Refining Design Institute of the China Petroleum Ministry, SINOPEC LPEC is currently the leading company for refinery design and oil and gas engineering in China. It is now developing into one of the world's foremost engineering firms which integrates project engineering, EPC project contracting, research and development of petroleum refining processes, and equipment and licensing provision.

The new Protect 8, which represents the main part of this contract, achieves world class performance thanks to its certified manufacturing processes, zero failure policy and repeatable systems quality. The Protect 8 series includes heavy duty, double-conversion, single phase and three phase AC output, industrial UPS system, and standalone single phase and three phase DC/AC inverters as standard issue. The most reliable in its class, Protect 8 boasts an innovative modular architecture, enhanced manufacturing processes, and “fit to specification” concept so that each application gets exactly what it needs to guarantee optimal performance levels.
