Intertek showcases global expertise at the 7th annual LNG world
Intertek, a leading provider of quality testing, inspection and safety services to a wide range of industries around the world, presents expanded technical service capabilities supporting the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry during the 7th Annual LNG World Conference in Brisbane.
Intertek is strategically located in Australia and the Pacific region where major LNG expansion and development projects are underway.
Intertek Australia has supported the LNG industry for over 15 years, providing LNG operators, suppliers and buyers with safety, quality and quantity solutions. Intertek provides cargo custody transfer measurements vital for commercial trade in LNG, including sales and purchase agreement reviews, thermal energy calculations, vessel measurement, sampling and witnessing of LNG loading, laboratory analysis and other criteria in accordance with client commercial agreements and industry standards. Expertise includes sophisticated ship and shore tank calibration to ensure accurate volume measurements of LNG cargo.
Intertek’s expanded technical capabilities supporting LNG operators, exploration and production activities will be on display, including technical inspection, quality assurance, technical staffing, safety consulting and training, pipeline corrosion control, material analysis, 3-dimensional control and laser scanning, HSE training, and project reporting.
