AVEVA signs strategic alliance MOU with SEDIN Engineering
AVEVA today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Beijing with SEDIN Engineering Company Limited(SEDIN) which defines a new strategic alliance between the two companies.
The MOU will position SEDIN as an AVEVA technology pioneer in the China chemical industry. SEDIN will gain early visibility and access to new AVEVA software technology, in exchange for its valuable feedback towards current and future product development plans. The new relationship offers SEDIN a first mover competitive advantage, ‘setting the pace’ for the industry, and AVEVA benefits from their extensive operational and industry expertise.
Working together on a number of new business opportunities and projects, AVEVA and SEDIN will develop a chemical-specific engineering software solution platform, ensuring applications are compliant with local regulatory requirements while adopting global industry best practice.
