Crane Energy Flow Solutions presents its product solutions at Canada coking conference
CRANE Energy Flow Solutions is pleased to announce its participation in the Canada Coking Conference & Exhibition scheduled for October 22-26, 2012, in Fort McMurray, Alberta (Canada); Booth #11). The company will participate in and contribute to the accompanying Safety & Reliability Seminar, which takes place during the 3rd and 4th day of the Conference (24th and 25th). During the conference, CRANE will emphasize the features and benefits of two of its trusted brands: the Pacific® Wedgeplug Valve and the Krombach® Metal Seated Ball Valve (MSBV).
There are certain strategic design characteristics that make these valves remarkable. Pacific Wedgeplug Valves have metal sealing surfaces (improving reliability of shut-off), and provide bi-directional sealing. Krombach® Metal Seated Ball Valve’s ball and seat are machined to such precise tolerances that ball and seat lapping does not have to be performed individually for each valve – making both the ball and seat freely interchangeable (if equal in nominal size). Krombach MSBVs are equipped with a self-cleaning system, and their leak-proof characteristics meet the rigorous requirements for isolation service, and are CRN certified.
“We are keen to continue our mission to not only design and supply highly engineered products and solutions, but to enhance the inherent value we offer by promoting safety in their applications. Our message, one that we will promote during the Canada Coking Safety & Reliability Seminar, helps to improve across the board safety in energy processing, while underlining the importance of using valves and technologies whose safety and performance record is a source of confidence. Coking and other petroleum processing are industries we focus on, and we design valves with their particular needs in mind. This Conference provides an important forum for Crane to convey these messages in a client-facing environment where attendees are looking for solutions,” said Rob Marocco, General Manager, CRANE ChemPharma and Energy Flow Solutions, Canada. Rob continued…”As part of our ongoing process improvements, our MSBVs are shipped with a serial number and an enclosed Materials……… document detailing manufacturing information that end users require for valves deployed in critical applications. Even if the Materials…. document should get misplaced, it can be reproduced by contacting Crane with the serial number of the valve.”
