PROSERNAT announces an exclusive license agreement with CCR Technologies Ltd

PROSERNAT announced the signature with CCR Technologies Ltd of an exclusive License Agreement under which PROSERNAT will have exclusive licensing rights in respect of CCR’s reclaiming technology for MEG reclaiming units.

CCR will continue its mobile reclaiming operations through its affiliate CCR Technologies Inc., while PROSERNAT will license the Reclaiming Technology for permanent Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) reclaiming units.

Injection of large volumes of MEG at the wellhead is an effective way to prevent hydrate formation and assure gas flow. MEG returns to shore in a mix of gas, hydrocarbons, water, salts and other solids; replacement is very costly and the installation of MEG reclaiming system provides economic and environmental benefits associated with re-use rather than disposal of hydrate inhibition chemicals.

“The acquisition of such license from CCR strengthens our offer all along the gas treatment chain and helps us to better serve our customers by providing them a wider range of technologies in particular for new offshore development projects including MEG Reclaiming units”, said Jérôme Illouz, Chairman and CEO of PROSERNAT Group.

“The collaboration with PROSERNAT will give CCR a unique opportunity to expand the use of our reclaiming technology and enhance its marketing through a first class engineering company”, said Don Seaman, CEO of CCR Technologies Ltd.
