Jacobs enhances and expands support for Saudi Aramco and other Middle East clients
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc is expanding its presence with a new office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, to strengthen its support for Saudi Aramco and other key clients and partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Jacobs has been steadily increasing its presence and scope in the Middle East, and recently moved 1,200 local employees and client personnel into a new office building in downtown Al Khobar. Jacobs’ new 5,400m2 space is equipped with state-of-the-art telecommunications systems and includes offices for employees and clients, meeting rooms, musala and ablution areas, and a variety of other services and resources. Jacobs provided complete architectural, interior design, mechanical, plumbing, electrical engineering, and construction management services for its new office space. An official opening celebration attended by senior executives from Jacobs and Saudi Aramco was held last week.
Jacobs Group Vice President Bassim Shebaro stated, “We are committed to helping our clients develop a long-term sustainable workforce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Having doubled in size in the last two years, the move into our new space in Al Khobar allows us to more effectively collaborate and better serve our clients’ objectives on a wide range of projects throughout the Middle East.”
