XRG celebrates 5th anniversary!

XRG is celebrating 5 years of service in the oil and gas industry. We are a fired equipment engineering firm specializing in the design and supply of new equipment and the optimization of existing heaters.

Our Beginnings
The idea that became XRG Technologies was hatched on an airplane during a discussion between the founders about the lack of innovation in the industry. New ideas are rarely embraced. Yet, the demand for better performance and lower emissions requires innovation. Before landing in Tulsa, the concept of a new company focused on knowledge, modernization, and progress was already taking shape.

The most demanding challenges in fired equipment design and operation requires the best technology. XRG leverages cutting-edge technology in developing a knowledge base to improve furnace efficiency, reliability, and emissions. Our collaboration with forward-thinking partners allows XRG to provide comprehensive state-of-the-art solutions that move the industry forward.

“XRG’s success is a true testament to the talents and expertise of the team we have brought together. I truly believe our combustion and heat transfer knowledge is unrivaled in our industry. This team amazes me on a daily basis, and I am so privileged to be a part of leading an organization that is so focused on challenging the status quo with regard to fired equipment. We’ve spent the first five years gaining acceptance as a new company; now it’s time to get to work making real technology changes,” said Bailey Hendrix, XRG’s COO.

Our Projects
Our vision is to be the O&G industry’s premier engineering partner in the journey to a cleaner and more efficient world, and we get results. In just 5 years, XRG has eliminated more than 103,446 tons of CO2 emissions from combustion equipment.

“Despite only being in business for five years, XRG has been fortunate enough to perform engineering studies, revamps, and supply new heaters to some of the largest refining and chemical companies in the world.  Our team of experts work hard to deliver real value for our customers to ensure that we live up to the trust they have placed in us,” said Tim Webster, XRG’s Chief Product Officer.

Our Future
XRG’s CTO, Erwin Platvoet, said, “In just a few years, XRG has become one of the industry’s most innovative companies. This is a testament to the talent and dedication of our team, without whom none of this would be possible. Our R&D efforts, CFD capabilities, and mechanical engineering prowess ensures the next five years will be even more exciting and groundbreaking!”
