Significant air saving possibilities

Sustainability is a hot topic in all process industries. The thousands of valves that control and safeguard today’s process plant operations consume a sizeable amount of compressed air. Valmet’s Neles™ NDX intelligent valve controller consumes approximately 80 to 90% less air than conventional controllers. Ville Kähkönen from Valmet’s flow control industry management asks his colleagues about the importance of sustainability in industries such as renewable energy & gas, pulp & paper, mining & metals, and refining & chemicals. How could the customers in these various industries benefit from these air saving possibilities?
