An introduction to Sinopec Hydrocracking Technologies
This webinar gives you an overview and understanding of hydrocracking and its applications, with an emphasis on technologies and catalysts developed by Sinopec and its research arm, Sinopec Fushun Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals (Sinopec FRIPP).
You will first get an introduction to hydrocracking including feed processing and target output products. Commercial considerations include market share and reference installations such as 40 hydrocracking units designed with Sinopec technology as well as an additional 12 legacy units that have been revamped with Sinopec technology.
Continuing with the discussion, you will learn about hydrocracking processes that have been developed by Sinopec. These fall into broad categories of middle distillate selective processes and chemical material selective processes. You will have an opportunity to discover benefits such as energy savings and decreased operation pressures, along with ways that Sinopec processes can be combined with other processes.
Finally, you will hear about hydrocracking catalysts developed by Sinopec. Based on a deep understanding of molecular behavior during the hydrocracking process, Sinopec catalysts exhibit high conversion efficiency and high selectivity with widespread commercial applications.
The complete range of hydrocracking technologies and catalysts allow Sinopec to provide “tailor-made” solutions for clients.
