GTC Vorro technology for reducing octane loss in an FCC gasoline stream

Another U.S. refiner has asked GTC Vorro to study using its catalytic adsorption technology for an FCC gasoline stream to reduce octane loss. The unit is currently losing more than 1 RON in the post-unit selective hydrogenation unit.  Many units in the industry lose much more than 1 RON due to inadvertent saturation of olefins in the classical selective hydrotreating units.
