SPINTUBE receives Canadian registration
SPINTUBE replacement bundles, manufactured at our IMB facility in Italy have received trademark registration in Canada and been issued with Canadian Trademark Registration Certificate TMA1272147. SPINTUBE is registered under Class 11 described as “Heat transfer products, namely, heat transfer tubes and heat transfer tube replacement bundles, for use in the petroleum, chemical, gas processing, power and refinery industries and replacement parts therefor; Enhanced heat transfer tubes for high performance heat exchangers.”
SPINTUBE bundles enhance the performance of all TEMA type shell and tube heat exchangers by providing increased heat transfer area and improved thermal performance. Their unique structure also reduces pressure drop, mitigates against fouling and eliminates tube vibrations. They can be retro-fitted into existing shells without modification and, as well as improving performance by up to 40% versus traditional tube bundles, will also reduce energy consumption and lower overall plant CO2 emissions.
Typical applications include:
* Crude pre-heat trains
* Cooler trains (e.g. amine service)
* Condensers
* Reboilers and vaporizers
* Feed-effluent exchangers
* Compressor gas coolers
The SPINTUBE trademark is also recognized in the UK.
